Due to the on-going reduction of our stud we now offer "POCO", our 8yr old Imported Black and White Tobiano Stallion for genuine sale. We cannot say enough about the cool temperament of this horse or his natural ability to move so effortlessly and he produces lovely foals with height and muscle. "POCO" is by the legend & former All Time Point Earning Stallion in APHA History STRAIT FROM TEXAS (decd) also an (8) time World Title Holder (plus ROMs & Superiors ) in Working Cowhorse, Reining, Steer Stopping, Calf Roping, Heading & Heeling and sire of Multiple NCHA, NRCHA, APHA and Barrel Horse Assoc money earners. His super bred DAM has consistently produced performance champions. "POCO" showed his outstanding ability early in his career with Warren Backhouse. Unfortunately, he sustained a serious injury to his back fetlock (dog-pack attack) which ended his performance career. Suitable for general riding, mustering etc but not guaranteed for hard competition. His oldest progeny, now 4yrs old, are proving to be great all-rounders with success in halter, reining, dressage/hack, show jumping, cutting, cattle yard work & trail riding - just great all-rounders. "QUIRRAN-LEA STRAIT ACRES" PHAA 12362 This eye catching, black solid paint bred yearling gelding is just bred to work! His flashy black & white paint sire is STRAITS OLE POCO PINE (IMP). His Dam "QL Delta Destiny" is an own daughter of "ACRES DESTINY" (imp) out of a black tobiano mare by champion performance paint, Overexposed & out of a Poco Peppy Doc/Cactus Delta QH mare.
